Obituary of Anne M. Peterson

Anne Marie Peterson, 99, of Duluth went to be with her Lord and Savior On March 4, 2019.

She was born On September 10, 1919 in Barnum, Minnesota to John and Jennie Norberg and was raised on a Guernsey Dairy Farm in Mahtowa. She graduated from Barnum High School in 1938. She moved to Duluth and met the love of her life, Roy Peterson, and were married in 1941. They were happily married for 43 years until his passing in 1984. She spent many years working at home as an accomplished invisible reweaver until she was 80 years old. She will always be remembered by her soft quiet spirit, love for her family and friends and her magically talented hands as she was an avid gardener and seamstress. She would tell you that the most important thing in her life was when she trusted Christ as her Savior, and through His sacrifice on the cross she knew she would one day be with Him.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roy; her parents; brothers, William and Fred and sister, Irene Norberg.

She is survived by sons, Barry Peterson, Dick Peterson (Laura), daughters, Royanne Brown and Deb Cunningham (Carlton); grandchildren, Stacie Neill (Kyle), Shane Brown, Tracee Sloan, Nathan and Brandon Jurewicz, Adrienne Schmitt (Paul) and Dana Billings, (Joe). She had nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as several wonderful nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Kristie Amys and Gerri Russo for the special care and friendships they showed to their mother for many years.

Visitation will be from 12-1:00 pm., followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 8 at Faith Baptist Church in Hermantown.  Arrangements by Bell Brothers Funeral Home.
