Obituary of Thomas Edward Broman

After graduation he had a summer job for the Martin Udesen family at the Curling Club Roller Rink. He joined the Navy before his 18th birthday, with most of his three years of active duty on the U.S.S. Stichell DDR-888. He started working at Northwestern Bell Telephone in 1956, mostly in Pine City, retiring after 30 years. He loved spending time at his cabin on Island Lake. He was a member of the American Legion Post 71, VFW Post 4258, Telephone Pioneers, USS Stickell Reunion, U.S. Navy Memorial, Richard Bong Veterans Heritage Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes; sister, Lorraine; brothers, Orval and Jack; and sister-in-law, Marian. Tom is survived by his sister, Rachel Prudhomme; brother, Marvin (Lorraine); sister-in-law, Georgeann; and many nieces and nephews. Services and Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 2516 Woodland Ave. Military Honors by the Duluth Honor Guard.
