Dear Ardys, A lovely lady and dear friend. Her gracious ways and strong faith are examples for us all. I cherish memories of symphony concerts, luncheons, and outings with her. She blessed us and so many people. Peace and joy as she passes on.

What an amazing woman Ardys was! She lived by herself for so many years, but had many friends and relatives that she cherished. She loved the kids and babies in her family and would talk to their photos when they weren't around. She had such a zest for life and such a sweet personality, I think everyone who knew her loved her. I only knew her for a very short time, but will never forget her.

I lived across the street(1918) from Mrs. Maker for 18 years growing up, my Grandparents (1921) lived 2 doors down from her. She had the most beautiful gardens - but mostly, the most beautiful Raspberries - which we sometime snuck from the backside of the fence hoping not to get caught :) I'm sorry for your loss. What a long life she lived.

I LOVE Ardys! I don't believe I have seen her since my wedding in 1996. (I moved to California shortly afterward.) In 1980 John, Ardys, and her sweet niece Millie Lou went on a tour to Israel and Germany together with others including Pastor John Cedar, my friend Beth, me, and others from California, and had such an amazing time! Ardys loved God, loved people, and was SO much fun! I expect there is a big party welcoming her in heaven--yet I'm sorry for her family's loss. Ardy, I look forward with great joy to see you again!!! Love, Ann Los Angeles, CA
