We have so many sweet memories of your mother, Ruth and Richard! We met her when we moved to Duluth in 1968, and your dad and you, Ruth. Richard, you were not born yet. I did not know her name was Mamie Bernice! What a pretty name! You were fortunate to have had your mom for so long. She was a true Christian example to us. God's Peace. My deepest sympathy and prayers to the surviving family of Aunt Mae Pedersen. She was famous as far back as the early 70s for her Scotcheroo Bars! -- before everyone could have them from Cub foods, which calls them now something else like Chocolate covered Rice Krispy Bars. Aunt Mae was also famous for giving her neices and nephews wet sloppy kisses on the cheek -- Sloppy Joes! Alas! Dear Aunt Mae! Last September, when I visited her, her short-term memory was nonexistent -- She did not recognize a photo of herself which was taken with a cell phone and shown her 2 seconds later. So, it is easy to let her go to her reward. May God bless and keep the family as they toil on through the vagaries of aging themselves. Welcome to Minnetonka! Love and prayers, Lisa Sundberg
