Obituary of Ronald Chester Stauber

Ron graduated from Denfeld High School, class of 1954. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1965. Ron worked for US Steel for 35 years, retiring in 1998. Ron enjoyed going to hockey games and watching the MN Vikings. He loved camping on the Whiteface Reservoir and Big Sandy Lake. His favorite fishing spot was the St. Louis River. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lorrain, Elizabeth and Marguerite; brothers, Edward, Lawrence, Richard and Anthony. Ron is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Mark) Marquardt and Rhonda (Ed) Monarque; brother, Dell (Jean) Stauber; grandchildren, Ashley (Austin) Smith, Brianna and Rachel Krajewski, Sophie and EJ Monarque; great-grandchild, Ana Smith; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W., Duluth, with visitation one hour prior.
