Obituary of Constance Amy Englestad

Connie was born July 2,1925 to Emil and Fanny (Nygren) Levin. She graduated from Concordia College and went on to teach in Sauk Center and Duluth East. Connie married Wendell P. Engelstad on June 28,1958 in Crookston, MN. They moved to Duluth shortly there after where her husband did his internship at St. Luke's Hospital. After finishing his internship they moved to Virginia, MN where he was in family practice for two years. They then moved back to Duluth where Wendell did his residency in pathology Connie loved Duluth and was a very active member in the community where she was a member of many organizations. Connie was a member of First Lutheran Church in Duluth. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Wendell P. Engelstad, mother and father Emil and Fanny, two sisters Marjorie and Josephine. There will be a Celebration of Connie's life this summer. Burial will take place at Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria, MN
