Obituary of Edwin Marlin Brainard

Edwin grew up in Hermantown, graduating in 1956. He then married the love of his life, Janice Danberg in 1957. He was a loving husband and father. He was always a gentleman, provider, and guide to adventures, travels, and life. Edwins family would like to extend a grateful thank you to Northland Village, Hoyt Lakes staff for their excellent care in Edwins last couple months. Edwin was preceded in death by his infant son, David; brother, Jack; and mother, Alice. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Janice of Aurora; children, Terry of Nashville, TN, Sherry of Gilbert, MN, and Mike of Dallas, TX; three granddaughters, Jamie, Wendy (Luke), and Sally; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Lornie (Judy) Brainard; and sister, Joan Walker. Visitation: 1:00 until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, December 17, 2018 at United Lutheran Church of Proctor, 701 3rd Ave. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery, Hermantown.
