Obituary of Joyce A MacInnes

Born May 12, 1935 in Roosevelt, MN to Norwegian immigrants Ole & Nathalie Anderson, the youngest of four children. Graduated as Valedictorian from Williams High School in 1953. As a young adult, she worked for a short time as a medical assistant. Joyce married Donald MacInnes in May of 1956. They had three children. She was a very active member of her church. Joyce's real passion in life was everything to do with home; family, neighbors, cooking, gardening, crafting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Eli Cook; and siblings, Andrew (Mabel), Joseph (Thelma) and Lillian (Clifford). Joyce is survived by her children, Lee (Connie), Bonnie (Wayne) Cook and Glen (Lori); grandchildren, Mara (Matt), John, Anna (Biel), Andrew (Rosa), Joshua (Marylou), Nathan (Janine), Brooke, Brita, Caleb (Pearl), Moriah, Isaiah and Merabbeth; 13 great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives & friends. Private services were held. Interment took place at Oneota Cemetery.
