Dear Family, From my heart my deepest sympathy to you. I worked with Leonard at the DTA for many years, enjoyed many Boy Scouts adventures with him, and had years of deer hunting with him. I really enjoyed his company and we always had lots of fun together. I will miss him and I'm very thankful for the time we had together. With Sympathy and love Ken Goodell

Len couldn't see to drive any more, so I would pick him up at 6 am, and we would go to the gym at Proctor High School. After our 'work-out', we would go to McDonald's and have a bacon-egg-and cheese biscuit and coffee. We'd talk about the good old days fishing on the North Shore or hunting in the North woods. It was there at McDonald's that Len first shared with me his faith in Jesus: Len was in the army in Korea, and was sitting right next to his buddy in the foxhole, when his buddy was killed by enemy fire. Len prayed to the Lord, and vowed that if He got him out of there alive, Len would serve Him the rest of his life... The Lord got him out alive , and Len was a faithful follower of Jesus for the rest of his life. Len also shared with me how he met and married his wife Pat. He loved her with all his heart, and missed her dearly when she died.

I remember being in junior high at Washington Jr High school, and uncle Leonard would most days be my bus driver after school, I loved those moments together with him. Uncle Leonard will be missed greatly, he made any who knew him smile. Loved greatly, missed terribly, never forgotten ❤

I came to know Lenny at New Perspectives. He and my mother, Marketta, were friends. He never failed to brighten my day and share a laugh and a hug. I will miss him, as will Mom. So sorry for your loss. May peace be with you.
