Obituary of Amelia Josephine Doboszenski
Amelia “Molly” Josephine Doboszenski, 100, of Duluth passed away peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Garden House Estates in Riverside. She was born August 22, 1917 to Martin and Katherine Shuss in Kinney, MN.
Molly grew up in Aurora until she decided to move out on her own when she was just 15 years old. She then moved to Duluth where she did some child care for several years. She married John S. Doboszenski and together they started their lives in Willow River, MN before moving back to Duluth.
She worked many years for Van Vick Paper Box Company until they closed. Molly also worked for Jeno’s until her retirement.
Molly loved anything to do with music. She enjoyed yodeling, playing accordion, or singing to country music. She also admired classical and opera music. She also loved driving and she traveled through many states and European countries. She really enjoyed doing the daily newspaper puzzles, even at 100 years old and play games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and grandson, Kevin.
She will be greatly missed by her three children, Frances Weiss Palmer, JoAnn Stanley, and Kenneth Doboszenski all of Duluth; grandchildren, Gary, Molly, Steven, and Christopher; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Essentia Hospice and especially Garden House Estates for the love and care they gave Molly and her children during her stay.
