Obituary of CONSTANTINE S LUKOVSKY

Constantine “Connie” S. Lukovsky, 91, of Duluth passed away peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Connie was born on June 16, 1926 to Sophie and Nicholas Lukovsky in Gary New Duluth, where his family lived with his brothers and sister. He graduated from high school and served in the Navy in World War II. After serving his country, he married Angeline Colich. He worked for St. Louis County Sheriff’s department and retired as Lieutenant Deputy Sheriff. Connie was also a business man with Gary Builders Supply, Venture Supper Club, Duluth Sports, and Pokegama Inn as well as other business ventures. Connie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. He also had many memorable trips with his buddies and family. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and Shriner of the AAD Temple. Connie was preceded in death by his mother, Sophie (Oleksinki) Lukovsky; father, Nicholas Lukovsky; and wife, Angeline. He will be greatly missed by his children, Constantine N. Lukovsky of Duluth, and Linda Symiczek of Saginaw; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a friend, Medric Godbout of many years. Per dad’s (Grandpa Connie) request, no services will be held. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
